Still alive and breathing

So I haven't been here in awhile so let me catch you up to speed. This blog is all about marketing myself a better me, which I have true to do over the past several months. I decided to move to Dallas to try and get the surgery I need to getting healthier. They were going to remove my cyst. I was so elated but this decision came with some hard consequences. My children's father did not go with us which made it very difficult on not only me but my three children. I set a date to get the surgery for dec 17. But on thanksgiving the family I was staying with decided to leave. A monkey in my wrench you say. I had to move back to San Antonio and not get surgery so that we had a place to stay.

The sliver lining in this story is that my children and I moved into our very on apartment. We are struggling but blessed. Peace at last. We will see what happens from here.

Cancer is deadly

It is eye opening to see all the wonderful support we have been getting in the fight for cancer. All of the support has lead to new drug, procedures, and a more beneficial life for cancer patients and survivors. So next time you see a donation box for raising funds to fight cancer please remember it could be you next.

There is a new treatment for prostate cancer called HIFU which stands for High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound. It is a wonderful procedure that only treats the tumor and leave good tissue alone. which is the whole propose of the procedure. Leave healthy alone. With HIFU it allow them to avoid or reduce the damage to surrounded structures such as the muscle controlling urine flow and the nerves while still fighting the bad cancer. And get this you can treat the cancer but not have all the terrible side effects.

One other great benefit of HIFU is that you can cut down on the proceduer time and no hospital stays. not to mention back to normal life much faster.

some other benefits of HIFU is patients maintain sexual potency , No incision is required which avoids the risk of surgical infection, and the procedure can be repeated .

This is defiantly good news to hear because I have seen first hand what patients go through when dealing with cancer. I watch my aunt who decided not to go through treatment get eaten alive by this horrible disease and believe me it is not something I wish on one of my worst enemies.

So i beg of you if you or someone you know is suffering from prostate cancer please get a great support system, find a doctor who is very aggressive but human and do research. You might want to suggest HIFU.

I love evolving we tend to invent some wonderful life-changing ideas. Thanks all who listens and remember the next time you see a donation box for raising funds to fight cancer please remember it could be you next.

home security

Let me tell you what happened to me.

I am normally always at home but I decided to go to my moms house to watch a movie. I was gone for a total of 3 hours. when I returned home i found my house torn apart.

What bothered me wasn't that they got a lot of valuable item but more my security and peace of mind. So i decided to get ADT to secure my home it was the only way I could feel safe.

It is only my self and my three children at home so ADT was the best idea it was that or a bat by every door and my bed.

Thank You ADT Security North Syracuse.

wiating it out

Thanks to Wm Rowe

My husband and I bought a house in a neighborhood of san antonio that is not so great. It is an area that is getting revitalized, so we thought we would give it a chance. There are a lot of historical homes in the area, and we love the scenery. There are also some great local restaurants and coffee shops close by, and we are close to downtown. We thought it would be fine, and we got a great deal, so we went for it. We know the neighborhood is getting better, but it’s hard for us to feel comfortable while it’s on the upswing. Some of our neighbors are very shady and we think they have been casing our house to rob it. We need to look into home security san antonio and get something set up so we can feel better about the situation. We hope that the neighborhood gets better and that we can sell for a huge profit, but we have to stay for a while before that happens. I wish we would have asked about the neighbors before we settled on the house.

Buying time

My mom has so been into playing bingo on the computer, because she can't really go many places. She has been playing at winster.com and she is fairly lucky. She is so excited about it she has gotten two of my aunts and my other sister playing as well. To all of our surprise my aunt won $5,000. There were quite a few step to take but she is actually getting the money which has come in handy since she has been taking care of my uncle. So go Winster you ROCK!!!!

Textbooks

Thanks to Olga Quinn

My husband recently started grad school to get his masters degree in education. We had to take out student loans for him, and we will spend a few years after he completes his degree paying the loans back. One expense we had not planned on was the cost of his textbooks. We had no idea how expensive his books would be and he thought it would be ridiculous to pay full price for books he would only be using for a short period of time. We recently got satellite internet from http://www.wildbluedeals.com/, so we decided to research to see what would be the cheapest way to buy his books online. We found out that there is a free way to get textbooks by checking them out from college libraries. Unfortunately, not all libraries carry all of the books we need, so we will end up having to buy some of them. My husband also figured out that it is not necessary to buy every book for each class. His professors have been pretty honest about which books they will use and which books are optional. My husband and I both appreciate this since we are trying to save as much money as possible.

On the Right Path Finally!

I finally got approved for medical insurance, HOORAY!! This is such a blessing. I have been seeing this doctor and I'd have to say I am very impressed. She is warm, understanding and it seems she really does have my best interest at heart. She has put me on a couple of new medication which seems to help clear my head and manages to reduce some of the harsh pain. I have been so use to hurting that when I have good days I get all excited and overdo myself. Right now my house is clean, all my laundry is done, but yet I am having to schedule another date with my bed. The pain is winning today but tomorrow is another day. Look out pain!!

Things are finally looking up. I just hope the saying, " when something looks to good to be true, it probably is." does not apply in my cause, for this situation.

So for now, I will just keep pushing myself and Pray, Pray, Pray.
